Dear reader,
You know how they say life is like a box of chocolates? You never know what you're going to get. Well, right now, I'm about to unwrap a new challenge in my journey—I'm taking a pause from writing to undergo surgery for an acoustic neuroma.
This is one of those unexpected twists that reminds us that life is full of surprises—some sweet, some tough, but God is always at our side, and with Him, all things are possible. In every challenge lies an opportunity to rise, grow in faith, and discover how resilient we are.
I’ll be stepping away for a little while and will be back in a few months—renewed, with fresh insights and a heart full of gratitude for the road that brought me here. In the meantime, I hope you keep pushing through your own challenges, remembering that resilience isn’t just about surviving—it’s about thriving, even when the road gets rocky.
Thank you for being part of my journey. Your support means more than words can say. Take care, and I’ll see you soon, ready to unwrap whatever comes next!
With love and strength,
Carol
The poem below is dedicated to all brave souls who embrace life fully! To all who are broken and blessed, and never give up.
I get up, once again Broken and bleeding Letting go of every single dream To embrace reality I tasted the ground Sweet and sound No hand to hold mine No words of wisdom acquired Only the visceral instinct To survive another battle I get up, once again Freer and stronger Hurting and healing Broken and blessed Certain of my uncertainties Up and up, once again Broken and blessed
Olá Carol- mandando muito força pra você. Q de tudo certo na sua cirurgia. Estarei rezando por você. Um grande abraço 💗
