Michelangelo - Creation of Adam Out of chaos, came order The music was harmony and the air was unity Until discord was planted And men became enchanted By the spell of its own ego There is no randomness, only patterns imperceptible to the human brain There is no chance occurrence, only hidden events in a long chain No rolling dices but strange attractors that guide infinity weaving destinies within the universe’s intricacy Let there be light! By removing ourselves from our place in creation We made our egos the supreme divine By removing ourselves from our place in creation We broke the harmony We introduced chaos in our hearts in our minds In our lives By removing ourselves from our place in creation We try to control the world and those around us In full command of our lives and destinies Lost in the illusion of power to create our own realities Displaced in our exodus We whine about misfortunes stemmed from our own wickedness All day and night we complain of sorrows and heavy burdens Immersed in self-inflicted pain After blaming God We refuse to look in the mirror and we make our list of demands We walk away from the Light and wonder why evil lies close at hand Let there be light!
